It’s almost June! And that means it’s almost time for our Summer Reading Program! Beginning June 1, 2012 (until July 15, 2012), kids ages 3 years – 5th grade will be able to register for the program online at sunnyvalereads.org. Read and record 10 books and win a prize book and Friends of the Library Gift Certificate! (Children not yet reading may count books read to him or her.)
In addition to the Summer Reading Program itself, we also have lots of activities planned this summer for children of all ages. From musicians to puppet shows to live animals, there will be something for everyone. Certain programs will require that you pick up free tickets in advance. More information will be available at sunnyvalereads.org after June 1, 2012. (Note: We will also have separate summer programs just for teens entering 6th – 12th grade this fall.)
